Antique Art Nouveau Silver Plate Pendant, Faux Turquoise, 1895 Spoon

This beautiful silverplate Victorian pendant was made from an antique sugar spoon in the Aldine pattern, circa 1895. Wondrful tip of the hat to the Art Nouveau movement in this piece! It features highly detailed scrolls and beads on the entire piece surrounding a plain teardrop section at the center of the tip. I added a faux turquoise rivet at the open area as an accent.

Very pretty, feminine piece. A lovely gift for someone special!

This pendant is 3" long with the bail x 3/4" at the widest point. It hangs on a 24" serpent chain.

As with all of my upcycled, repurposed flatware items, there are imperfections that have occurred over the years in the form of small scratches and little dings. These are to be expected for vintage flatware pieces, and are considered to be part of the charm of these pieces.
