Antique Silver Plate Earrings, Art Nouveau Slender Upcycled Silverplate Spoon Earrings

This pair of earrings was made from two antique spoons that came from Sweden. They are the slender parts of the handles without the wider ends. They are very lightweight - slender and graceful - and very unique!

The earrings are about 2" long x 1/4" wide, and have a drop of about 2 1/4". They hang from wires.

I made additional earrings from the tips of the handles of these same spoon. They feature a whimsical Spanish Dancer, lady with fan, shown in the last photo. You can find them in one of my other listings. I've also shown the original "before' photo of one of the spoons these came from.

As with all of my upcycled, repurposed flatware items, there are imperfections that have occurred over the years in the form of small scratches and little dings, plate wear and other "flaws" that give my jewelry its character. These are to be expected for vintage flatware pieces, and are considered to be part of the charm of these pieces.
