Antique Silver Plate Earrings, Art Nouveau Spanish Dancer, Upcycled Spoon Jewelry

This pair of earrings was made from two antique spoons that came from Sweden. They feature a whimsical Spanish Dancer, lady with fan.

The earrings are about 1" long x 1/2" wide, and have a drop of about 1 1/4". They hang from wires that are soldered onto the back of the earrings.

I made additional earrings from the remainder of the handles of these same spoon. They have wonderful Art Nouveau scrolls and waves, shown in second last photo. You can find them in my other listings. I've also shown the original "before' photo of one of the spoons these came from in the last photo.

As with all of my upcycled, repurposed flatware items, there are imperfections that have occurred over the years in the form of small scratches and little dings, plate wear and other "flaws" that give my jewelry its character. These are to be expected for vintage flatware pieces, and are considered to be part of the charm of these pieces.
