Avon 1901 Silverplate Fork Pendant, Assemblage Chain Tassel, Upcycled Victorian Jewelry

This striking pendant was made from a salvaged silverplated, antique Victorian serving fork. The pattern is Avon, and dates to 1901. I love the detail in the design! I removed the outer tines, and curved the two center tines to form a bail. I added an antiqued silvertone bead to the bottom, and attached a black chain tassel to this. to further accentuate the Victorian feel of this OOAK piece.

The pendant hangs on a 17" black leather cord. The cord has a 1 1/2" extension chain, so the necklace can be lengthened a bit.
