Birthstone Crystal Flatware Earrings: Art Deco Silverplate Knife Handle, 1940 Cabin Avalon

These earings were made from a knife handle in the 1940 Art Deco silverplate flatware pattern called Avalon aka Cabin. I teamed it up for the photo with August's peridotn crystals - but you can choose the color of the birthstone you want in the pulldown menu. (I offer both pearl and light amethyst for June.)

The earrings are drop dangle style with ear wires. I hand-cut the edges at the top to add some interest, and really like how they turned out! Each measures 1 1/2" in length. Total drop with wire is 1 3/4".

As with all of my upcycled, repurposed flatware items, there are imperfections that have occurred over the years in the form of small scratches, minor plate wear and little dings. These are to be expected for vintage flatware pieces, and are considered to be part of the charm of these pieces.
