This bookmark was made from a vintage silver plate butter knife blade, and hand-stamped "A glass of wine and a good book is my date night". The knife is accented with

a strand of beads, wine glass and once upon a time book charms, and a silky tassel.

As with all of my upcycled, repurposed flatware items, there are imperfections that have occurred over the years in the form of small scratches, minor plate wear and little dings. These are to be expected for vintage flatware pieces, and are considered to be part of the charm of these pieces.
