Peridot August Birthstone, Antique Silver Victorian Tea Strainer Pendant Openwork Necklace, 1900s Repurposed Utensil

This pretty openwork pendant was made from an antique silverplated tea strainer. The Victorians were known for their attention to detail, and the tea strainer really cried out to live another life as a necklace! In fact, I made two pieces from it - watch for the second one to be added soon.

I punctuated this already lovely piece with August's birthstone - a crystal peridot surrounded by clear crystal rhinestone. This came from an orphaned antique earring, so we have lots of repurposing going on in this piece of jewelry!

The pendant hangs from a silver bead link, 18" chain. If you would like a different size or style, please message me for options.
