Silverplate Spoon Sapphire Pendant Art Nouveau 1893 Columbia, Scrolls, Waves

This pendant was made from an antique 1893 Art Nouveau spoon in the Columbia pattern from 1847 Rogers. The pattern features gorgeous, ornate scrollwork in the design. I added a sapphire crystal rivet, September's birthstone. I can make this with any color, though - you can choose the one you need from the pull-down variations menu.

The pendant about 1" long x 3/4" wide, and hangs from a 17" bead and bar link chain.

As with all of my upcycled, repurposed flatware items, there are imperfections that have occurred over the years in the form of small scratches and little dings, plate wear and other "flaws" that give my jewelry its character. These are to be expected for vintage flatware pieces, and are considered to be part of the charm of these pieces.
