South Seas Fork Ring: Unique Mid Century Flatware Ring, Large Size

This ring was made from a fork in the 1955 South Seas pattern. It features scrolls that mimic rolling waves close to the business end of the fork. I cut off the outer tines and curled it over the two center tines of the fork to achieve this look - part of the band is open and the design overlaps it. It's a very unique look! Great to wear on your index finger or thumb, where the open band can be seen. This is a large size - 11.5.

As with all of my upcycled, repurposed flatware items, there are imperfections that have occurred over the years in the form of small scratches and little dings. These are to be expected for vintage flatware pieces, and are considered to be part of the charm of these pieces.
