Upcycled Spoon Pendant: Abalone Stone, Gold Plated French Demitasse

As soon as I saw this set of demitasse spoons, I knew they were destined to be jewelry! The bowls became pendants with self bails. I added an abalone bezel set stone that was rescued from a vintage, damaged necklace at the center for interest. The pendant hangs from a delicate 18" goldtone chain.

The handles became earrings, with goldplated mesh design that culminates in a solid gold sphere at the base - they are shown in the last series of photos, after the "before" photo. These are available in a separate listing.

The pendant is about 1" long x 3/4" wide. Lightweight - perfect to wear with an open collar or v-neck top.

As with all of my up-cycled silverware jewelry, there are various imperfections that naturally arise from use and age. These add charm and warmth to my unique creations.
