Victorian Silver Plate Eagle Claw Earrings: Upcycled Steampunk Jewelry

These highly detailed earrings were made from the ends of a pair of Victorian era ice tongs. The end of the tongs are eagle talon, claw shaped, and the attention to detail is amazing! They make really unique earrings!

They are silverplate - I didn't overclean them, so you can really see all the intricate work in the design. I have let them tarnish even more, as shown in the first three photos - and they have developed a wonderful iridescent patina. This can be cleaned up to look more like the shinier versions in the other photos. Just let me know your preference when you're checking out.

The earrings each measures 2 3/4" long including the wires x 1 1/4" wide.

As with all of my up-cycled silverware jewelry, there are various imperfections that naturally arise from use and age. These add charm and warmth to my unique creations. Please see photos, as they are part of my description.
